Description: Carvel Electric offers its customers electrical services and systems. For example, they provide turnkey power solutions that help power industrial sites. They are a “proud Métis-owned company providing employment opportunity for indigenous people.”
Careers Page: Carvel Electric has a careers page offering a Bitcoin Savings Plan as a retirement perk. Health, benefits, and flexible working arrangements are provided as well. Skills are required from the electrical sector.
Description: Kuby is an installer of solar panels in Western Canada. As they put on LinkedIn, “we are an Edmonton, Alberta-based solar energy company that services all of Western and Northern Canada. We provide solar solutions for homes and businesses of all sizes. We offer professional design with years of proven industry experience to make your solar dreams a reality.”
Careers Page: Kuby was looking for a Project Administrator who manages administrative topics and helps with project management.
Description: Satoshi Energy helps grow data centers that can be used for Bitcoin mining or other technology applications like AI. As they describe on their website, they do “Site development, energy brokerage, and software to maximize the value of flexible datacenters.”
Careers Page: Satoshi Energy has a range of remote roles on its careers page. In the past, they’ve hired for Chief of Staff, product roles, project roles, and software engineering roles - a wide variety of tech-related roles.
Traditional services companies like plumbers now offer Bitcoin salaries, conscious that their employees value a long-term hedge against inflation and want to preserve the value of their hard work.
Description: A Calgary-based company that offers HVAC services, plumbing, and other air quality needs. Perhaps a company you wouldn’t expect to pay in Bitcoin, but it shows the need for companies to embrace Bitcoin, despite whatever industry they’re in. It makes sense for any business that holds cash to build a Bitcoin treasury and pay Bitcoin salaries.
Careers Page: Clearview Services does not have an active careers page on the website as of April 2025. Yet one can see on the website that plumbing/HVAC skills would be needed for different roles at the company.
Even traditional financial companies are getting into the mix, with an increasing recognition that Bitcoin is the apex employee benefit. It stands above and gives employees exactly what they need to spend and retire.
Description: Corrigan Financial Group is a company that has served British Columbia businesses and individuals since 1979. It is one of BC’s largest benefits consulting firms, offering employees the option to get paid in Bitcoin.
Careers Page: While they currently (as of April 2025) don’t have a careers page on their website, it can be assumed that they hire for benefits consulting and other financial advisory roles.
Description: Reframe Financial Group started as a workplace health provider and then began consulting for group benefits and health plans. It now offers individual as well as corporate insurance.
Careers Page: The careers page for Reframe has a general open application for anybody looking to apply their talents and a path for internships and co-op students.
Description: Satoshi Accounting Service is a Bitcoin-only accounting company. They describe themselves: “Satoshi Pacioli Accounting was founded in 2022 with a singular goal: to meet the evolving needs of an ever-growing community of companies and individuals operating within the Bitcoin ecosystem.”
Careers Page: While they currently (as of April 2025) don’t have a careers page, from what we can see from the Satoshi Accounting Service website, they would mostly be looking to hire tech-forward accountants willing to understand the needs of Bitcoiners.
Description: Gryphon is one of Canada’s leading providers of benefits. As they put it on their LinkedIn, “Gryphon is a leader in providing employee benefits, consulting, and individual insurance protection. We work with you to ensure best-in-class solutions and services that exceed expectations. Founded in 2011, Gryphon is dedicated to helping you protect your future.”
Careers Page: The company doesn’t have an open role but employs multiple consultants.
Companies that provide medical services also include a few that pay their employees in Bitcoin, making sure that they’re staying cutting-edge in their practices.
Description: Resplabs is an innovative company that offers many different products for CPAP machines, allowing people to breathe easier during the night as they sleep.
Careers Page: While there is no active careers page on the website in April 2025, a quick scan of the company on LinkedIn shows that there were roles hired in manufacturing and customer service.
Description: NosFabrica builds decentralized health apps. The company wants to create an ecosystem where you own your health data and are empowered by tools and open protocols like Nostr and Bitcoin. For example, they’ve focused on how to encrypt and transmit healthcare data.
Careers Page: There is no active careers page, though a glance at the team page shows a deep well of expertise across Nostr and medical innovation.
Technology companies are embracing the future, including tech companies that pay their employees in Bitcoin, allowing them to enjoy the good old days and what the future promised today.
Description: Boltz is a company that allows you to trade Bitcoin on-chain for Lightning Network Bitcoin without needing a third party involved.
Careers Page: There are no active roles and no active careers page for Boltz as of April 2025, but one can assume that the company is looking for designers, product, and developers to build out the product further.
Description: Ark Labs is working on getting more people to use Bitcoin by making it easier to onboard onto the Lightning Network more seamlessly, without the need for a third-party controlled wallet. As they put it on their LinkedIn: “Ark Labs is scaling Bitcoin with Ark, a new layer two protocol for fast, low-cost, seamless payments.”
Careers Page: Ark has no roles open now, but the company has hired for Marketing and Engineering roles in the past.
Description: Strike wants to build a more connected financial world by building on top of Bitcoin. It is a Bitcoin-only exchange that allows you to easily convert your fiat money into Bitcoin, while being transparent about its fee structure.
Careers Page: Strike promises many benefits to potential employees, from company ownership to healthcare and paid time off, on its careers page. They tend to hire remote-first roles, allowing employees to work where they are most comfortable. In the past, they’ve hired for compliance, engineering, finance, and accounting roles, and their job board also has an open application where you can potentially submit yourself to carve out your unique role at Strike.
Description: Coinbase is one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges and is responsible for holding the Bitcoin for the Bitcoin spot ETFs. It is a public company worth billions of dollars and employs thousands of employees.
Careers Page: As you might expect from such a large company, Coinbase has roles open across several functions, from data science to customer experience, on its careers page.
Description: OpenWeb uses AI and machine learning to help moderate communities and online discussions. It was one of the first companies to offer its employees Bitcoin as a payment option.
Careers Page: OpenWeb has a large team of departments from different technology companies, including Design, Engineering, Finance, Human Resources, and more.
Description: The Nostr Dev Team helps you build a decentralized Nostr app that allows users to own their data and identity.
Careers Page: While there isn’t a Careers page as of May 2025, their current team comprises full-stack engineers, a technical lead, and a technical designer. It would likely follow the same themes if they were to expand the team.
Description: Blockchain.com is an exchange that allows you to buy and sell Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. It’s noted as having paid employees in Bitcoin.
Careers Page: Their careers page mainly focuses on engineers, though different non-technical roles are also open.
Description: GMO Group is a Japanese Internet company on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. They have paid employees in Bitcoin.
Careers Page: GMO Group manages many companies with various hiring needs.
Description: Satoshi is a Bitcoin-focused app that allows you to do everything you want with your Bitcoin, from earning it to spending it, to borrowing.
Careers Page: The careers page at Satoshi doesn’t have open job roles, but it sets out the principles for hiring for the app, from being an owner, working remotely, and being paid in Bitcoin.
Description: Lightning Labs is responsible for the infrastructure behind the Lightning Network, a Layer 2 for Bitcoin that allows for near-instant settlement of payments. It’s one of the leading-edge technology companies.
Careers Page: As of April 2025, their careers page focuses on technical roles and a few business roles, such as a Marketing Lead.
Description: The company offers a way for corporations to be secure against viruses and other technical hacking. They sell computer security solutions to North American users at affordable rates.
Careers Page: While there isn’t a careers page up as of May 2025, the kinds of people the company hires may be salespeople who can help advance their business.
Description: Elektrafi offers a platform that empowers employees to take their financial destiny into their hands, providing actionable insights and working advice. The solutions bridge finance, technology, and benefits that impact the workplace.
Sample roles: There is no active careers page in April 2025, but a current look at the team shows plenty of roles in different categories the team has hired for, from marketing to mental health.
Description: Altair Technology operates two mining sites in St Charles, Missouri. They also sell Bitcoin mining equipment from many vendors, such as Bitmain.
Careers Page: As of April 2025, their careers page focuses on customer support and electrical testing roles, going beyond a traditional tech company.
Description: Bull Bitcoin is a Canadian Bitcoin-only exchange that focuses on the ability to buy and sell Bitcoin. It also offers various quasi-banking services, like the ability to pay your bills in Bitcoin. They have recently launched into Europe and Mexico, gradually allowing more and more people to buy Bitcoin on their terms.
Careers Page: While, as of April 2025, there isn’t an active careers page or an active job listing on LinkedIn, you can gather from the current employees of Bull Bitcoin that hiring would likely focus on engineering, sales, design, and executive roles.
Description: Galoy builds tools for those looking to develop enterprise Bitcoin applications. It enables people to create, for example, Bitcoin-backed loans for their customers.
Careers Page: Galoy’s careers page focuses on engineering roles and a BD/marketing internship, but it can be assumed that different and new roles will be opened with time.
Description: Spiral is the non-profit arm of Block, which, among other things, hosts Square. It’s focused on free and open-source development, and recently made waves for opening a “Bitcoin Wizard” role that promised to pay a significant amount, at least USD 700k, which could be payable in Bitcoin. Spiral focuses on building and funding open-source projects that advance Bitcoin.
Careers Page: While, as of April 2025, they don’t have an active careers page, Spiral does bring more context to its desire to hire “Bitcoin wizards” here.
Description: Satlantis is a company that combines Nostr and Bitcoin to curate communities worldwide. They are a travel and community social network that is built on Nostr.
Careers Page: While there was no active careers page in April 2025, Satlantis posted a job for a front-end engineer to help them build their website on BitcoinerJobs.
Description: Bisq is a software company that offers a decentralized peer-to-peer marketplace where you can trade cryptocurrencies privately. You can buy Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies here with your domestic payment options.
Careers Page: While there isn’t an active careers page as of April 2025, Bisq’s homepage clarifies that they’re always looking for developers, designers, and security experts to drive their mission forward.
Description: SATO is listed as a public company on the TSX Venture Index and offers high-performance computing for Bitcoin mining. They are also exploring opportunities in high-performance computing and AI.
Careers Page: There isn’t an active careers page as of April 2025, but SATO Technologies has posted a role for a CTOon BitcoinerJobs.
Description: Coinbits is an exchange that allows you to round up your pennies and cents and buy Bitcoin with them.
Careers Page: Though they don’t have an active careers page in April 2025, they have posted to hire a Full Stack Engineer on BitcoinerJobs.
Description: Swapido lets you pay bank account bills and any debit cards in Mexico with Bitcoin. It claims it’s the fastest way to pay for everything you need in Mexico.
Careers Page: As of April 2025, there is no active careers page for Swapido on the homepage. But there’s an open role for a Compliance Officer on BitcoinerJobs.
Description: Creating a decentralized peer-to-peer credit marketplace where people and businesses can borrow from one another using Bitcoin and eCash.
Careers Page: There isn’t an active careers page on the main website as of April 2025, but there are job postings on Bitcoiner Jobs focused on design and DevOps.
Description: Geyser is a fundraising platform that works with Lightning payments. People there start crowdfunding campaigns that are paid out in Bitcoin/Lightning. There have been campaigns, for example, to raise funds for Julian Assange and the earthquake in Myanmar.
Careers Page: While their homepage doesn’t have an active jobs page as of April 2025, they have posted jobs on places like BitcoinerJobs. They’re looking for volunteers to help with social media and operations.
Description: PlanB Network is about education on Bitcoin and hosts many events related to it around the world. They’ve released the B-Cert program meant to certify knowledge in Bitcoin.

Description: nodemad LLC is a new Nostr company focused on building a Nostr app. The website seems to lead to a Nostrbnb domain, perhaps alluding to their first play.

Description: Bitcoin Magazine is a long-standing stalwart of the media scene regarding Bitcoin. The magazine is published in print and online, and Bitcoin Magazine hosts large-scale Bitcoin events and has a books department.
Careers Page: Bitcoin Magazine’s parent company is BTC Inc., which has a job board for all child companies. In April 2025, a general application and a Senior Accountant role are open.
