Is DayPay a loan or cash advance?
No. DayPay delivers wages you have already earned — it is not a loan, a cash advance, or a form of credit. Nothing is borrowed and nothing is repaid. BoltPay simply moves your earned net pay to your account faster than a traditional two-week cycle.
Does it cost me anything to use DayPay?
DayPay is completely free to employees. There are no daily fees, no transaction charges, no subscription costs, and no hidden deductions. Your employer covers the platform cost as part of offering DayPay as a benefit.
How do I know how much I'll receive each day?
Your daily amount is based on your BlockRank™ tier — a percentage of the previous day's earned net wages, determined by your trust level and tenure with your employer. The higher your tier, the higher your daily access percentage, up to 100%.
What happens on my regular payday?
Nothing changes. Your regular payday still happens on its normal schedule. BoltPay automatically trues up behind the scenes — the daily amounts already paid are reconciled against your total net pay, so you receive exactly what you're owed with no overpayment or shortfall.
Does my employer have to change their payroll system?
No. DayPay is designed to work alongside existing payroll without replacing or disrupting it. There is no vendor swap, no system migration, and no change to how HR or finance teams operate. BoltPay integrates at the infrastructure level and handles everything automatically.
What is BlockRank™ and how do I move up?
BlockRank™ is a 4×4 grid your employer sets that crosses your trust level (based on performance and reliability) with your tenure. As you build a track record with your employer, your access percentage increases. A long-tenured top performer can access up to 100% of their daily earned wages.
Is my pay delivered to my existing bank account?
Yes. Your daily wages are delivered directly to your bank account — the same account your regular pay goes into. There is no separate wallet, no app you need to cash out from, and no waiting period to transfer funds.
What are Motivators™ and when do they launch?
Motivators™ is the next product on the BoltPay platform, launching Q1 2027. It allows employers to define discrete tasks — hitting a target, completing training, reaching a KPI — and automatically fire an instant micropayment to the employee's account the moment the task is completed.
